Fundraising…Finally it’s FUN!

The Gala was a smashing success and I heard all positive feedback (even the crabby husbands who never have fun enjoyed this year’s Gala). I had women I had never met before tell me it was the best event Christ Child of Naples has ever had.

I think that the key ingredients to its success were your upbeat presence as the auctioneer, the very professional PowerPoint presentation that you prepared and the large posters you had made for the eight live auction items. You really wowed them!

The Fund the Need idea really took off this year. I heard that the Board was thrilled to have unrestricted funds to commit to our charitable partners. You did a great job of getting these donations.

The underprivileged children of Collier County are the real winners in all of this – and that is what it was all about. Thank you again for a great job.  ~ Carol Panek, Co-Chair
